Reflections on "God Loves Uganda" and Ugandan Anti-LGBTQI Law (Stonewall "redone?")

The anniversary of Stonewall is approaching and as we do sadly we need to reflect upon the actions governments across the globe are taking against LGBTQI communities.

This past Friday, MC Pride and Allies held its Third Annual Consortium and among our activities we screened God Loves Uganda directed and produced by Roger Ross Williams.

Rather than reiterate what my colleagues at Montgomery College said, I encourage you to visit ArLiJo and read their comments.

Also, I encourage each of us to think about ways in which we can electrify the love taught by major world religions and that we challenge all religions to take the words: "Love thy neighbor as thyself." or "Do unto to others as you would have them do unto you." to heart and perhaps change the world one person at a time.
