Lisa Graley Wins the Gival Press Poetry Award



Gival Press is very pleased to announce that Lisa Graley of Lafayette, Louisiana has won the 14th Annual Gival Press Poetry Award-2012, with a cash prize of $1000.00, publication, and twenty copies of her book.

Her manuscript was read anonymously and chosen by Beverly Burch, a previous winner of the award.

A native of West Virginia, Lisa Graley is an assistant professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she teaches English and Humanities and coordinates the Interdisciplinary Humanities program. She has published stories and poems in Glimmer Train Stories, The McNeese Review, and Water~Stone Review.
